10.062-11
This new selection from Plant Sciences International is very similar to the variety Majestic, both in fruit production terms, high yield and easy to pick, and in fruit quality characteristics, excellent fruit size, great flavour and a good shelf life.
While suitable for both soil and substrate production systems, 10.062-11 produces very good quality long canes and is very suited to a double cropping growing regime.
Malling Bella
A vigorous, mid-season Primocane variety that produces heavy yields on long laterals on upright canes.
The attractive mid-red fruit has an excellent sweet flavour which remains bright after picking. The firm berries have a good shelf life post-harvest.
Malling Bella produces large berries (average 7g), which is maintained throughout the harvest period. The fruit is easy to pick and has a high Class 1 percentage, with good heat tolerance and performs well in both substrate and soil production in protected tunnels.
Malling Bella is particularly suited to both double cropping and long cane production.

Cascade Gem
Cascade Gem is a Floricane from Washington State University, with a mid to late season harvest period.
Cascade Gem produces very large, long conical-shaped fruits that are bright red and glossy. The firm berries have a good, sweet flavour and a long shelf life.
Cascade Gem is a high yielding variety with vigorous, stiff, and upright canes. While the upper laterals are medium in length, the lower laterals are very long and require support with a net. The canes have spines along their entire length.
In trials, Cascade Gem exhibited some field resistance to Phytophthora root rot.
Glen Eden
This new Floricane selection from the James Hutton Institute in Scotland is a progeny of Glen Ample.
Glen Eden consistently produces high yields (2kg+ per plant) of very large fruits (average 6.7g).
The attractive berries have a slightly elongated shape and are medium red in colour, with a good flavour profile that is the right balance between sweetness (Brix 10.5°) and acidity. The fruit is displayed well for picking.
Suitable for both substrate and soil growing systems.
Glen Ample
Glen Ample is a tried and tested main season variety that was long the standard choice for UK growers. It reliably produces high yields of good quality fruits with a traditional raspberry flavour.
The spine-free, upright floricanes allow easy access to the fruiting laterals. The bright red berries are a round conical shape and are medium-large in size (4g+).
Glen Ample is a vigorous variety and cane thinning is often required to manage the regrowth.
Glen Ample lacks resistance to most of the major raspberry pests and diseases.
Tulameen
Tulameen is a medium vigour Floricane selection that produces high yields of large (5g) berries with a very good flavour.
The glossy fruit is firm, sweet and has an attractive medium red colour which stands out in the punnet. In addition, the fruit has an excellent post-harvest shelf life.
Tulameen has a long harvest period of up to six weeks. The fruit is well displayed for harvest and is easily removed from the receptacle. The end of harvest overlaps nicely with early Primocane selections for continuous fruit production.
Tulameen is resistant to Powdery Mildew and to Raspberry Mosaic Virus. Tulameen is well suited for substrate production and low risk Phytophthora soil sites.
